Gong Bath Oxfordshire SAT 10th MAY 5-7pm

What is a gong bath? The gong is traditionally used in the Kundalini Yoga tradition as a healing tool: it is like a primitive form of ultrasound in the fact that the sound vibrations of the gong move through your body-mind clearing blocks, releasing tension and bringing harmony to your whole body. When you arrive at a gong bath you will be led into deep relaxation, lying flat on your back under a blanket. You will be offered an eye-mask to help you drop deeply into a calm and restful state. The gong does all the hard work! There is no yoga involved- it is simply a sound healing session. The gong is played for about 40 minutes, after which you gently awaken, come back from relaxation and have some yogi tea! I will be playing a symphonic Paiste gong. Where is it & what does it cost? Saturday 10th May 5-7pm: Quaker Meeting House 45 Northfield End, Henley on Thames, Oxon. RG9 2JJ There is parking available at the venue. The investment is £15 (£10 unwaged) Booking: 0118 931 3138 or check out the website at: www.deepwellnessyoga.co.uk
