Jane Duggleby holistic tent.
As a former successful business owner working in London, I moved with my husband to Somerset in 1993 and felt a calling into discovering more about myself, which led me to study Healing and later Sound Healing. Firstly I was trained by the NFSH (The Healing Trust), and this was followed by a number of amazing teachers and modalities, including Dr. Rosie Daniels, William Bloom, Jill Purce, Dr Eric Pearl, Daphne Johnston, Brandon Bays, Philippa Merivale, and Charmian Winser, Debbi Walker and Sheila Whittaker. My healing practice, almost always with hands off, has become increasingly powerful yielding profound and lasting results.
Throughout the day on Saturday 18th July Jane did one to one and small group sound therapy treatments. The treatments took place outside and was a great success.

One of the highlights of Gong Camp was the all night gong bath.
Saturday evening - Sunday morning was the all night gong bath. Under the stars, starting at 8.00pm and running till 8.00am Sunday morning. We kept a constant gong sound running for the twelve hours. An incredible experiance, the sounds of nature and the sounds of the gongs.
A poem about the twelve hour all night gong bath under the stars.
..ALL THAT WAS LEFT WAS LOVE
No words to pierce
This profound silence.
All that was left was Love
After our 12-hour Puja
In this beautiful place.
The gongs’ sacred space
Held everyone safe.
Masters of sound,
They did their work.
Lives were changed here.
Wind in trees,
The softly sighing breeze,
Life in flow
In every moment.
This is heaven on earth.
A gentle symphony of sound,
Gradually fading,
All-pervading.
And at the end
All that was left was Love.

My name is Phil McNamara, and I am a percussionist, sound healer and lover of all things 'gong'. My own interest in gongs - or more specifically 'tam-tams' - extends back nearly forty years to a time when I was finding my own likes and dislikes in classical music and developing an interest in the large symphonic works of the late 19th Century as well as British, American and Russian composers of the 20th Century.
Philip gave a talk/workshop on the Sunday morning "The history of gongs and how they are made and the theory of sound healing with them" Philip also demonstrated how to clean your gongs.

The most important part of gong camp were the meals. Michael provides only the finest ingredients (this being mostly organic) for the cooks to prepare our meals, and the results were very rewarding.
