Super smoothie
September 2012 recipe of the month
This Smoothie is medicine; any sign of illness go make one of these. If you have one glass of this a week you will notice a huge difference to your health. If you have one glass a day you will have more energy than Popeye.
1 Organic Apple
1 Organic Orange
1 Organic Grapefruit
1 Organic Lemon
2 Organic Kiwi
2 Organic Apricots
2 Organic Bananas
A good chunk of root ginger
4 Organic Cabbage leaves
2 Organic Celery storks
4 Organic Garlic cloves
2 Table spoon of organic Honey
2 Table spoons of ground Almonds
15 Organic Cherries
10 Basil leaves
20 Spinach leaves
2 Table spoon of 100% coca powder (organic)
1 Tea spoon of Turmeric spice (Organic)
2 Tea spoons Flaxseed oil
1 250g tub of Sojade organic Soya natural yogurt
1 cup of filtered or spring water
Clean all the fruit and vegetables, Remove the stones from the cherries and the Apricots, Squeeze the juice from the Orange, Lemon and Grapefruit, peal the Kiwi, Bananas, Garlic and Ginger, cut up the Apple (removing the core),Cut up all the fruit and vegetables in to smaller pieces.
Using a two pint glass jug, first add the Garlic Basil Spinach Celery and Cabbage, Grind up using a hand held liquidiser, add the Apple Bananas Apricots Cherries Kiwi and Ginger, grind up to a paste. Add the fruit juices, Honey, ground Almonds, Turmeric, Chocolate powder Flaxseed oil and yogurt, continue to liquidise, add about a cup full of Water to bring quantity up to two pints and mix once more. Serve straight away or chill in the fringe for an hour, drink within 24 hours.
