Sound Gong Bath provides regular gong baths meditations for groups of people at public venues in the South West of England

A gong bath is a relaxing and blissful experience. The term "gong bath" means that you are bathed in sound waves, there are no clothes removed or water involved, you simply lie down on crash mats (that I supply) wrap yourself in a blanket and your head on a pillow, close your eyes and relax. The gongs are played for an hour. The sounds that come out of the gongs are very unfathomable and very difficult for the human brain to follow, this results in surrender, and you will drift into a deep meditative state, this can happen once or many times throughout a session, everyone can have a different experience. Every session is different. The gong bath is very good at relieving pain, stress or dealing with personal issues, it tends to bring people to a blissful state that can often last for many days. When the session ends I gently bring the group back with small tingling bells and my heart sounding bowl, and sometime other instruments.

Take a look at my testimonial page to read the feedback that people has left me over the last six years.

About Sangha House

A new centre has opened in the heart of Taunton.

At its heart, the centre is based on the Buddhist practise of Mindfulness. Pulling together a number
of mindfulness based practises and holistic health approaches;

we wish to bring a single place to Taunton where people can develop a deeper connection with their own bodies, with their friends, families and colleagues and with the world in general. Our centre focuses on holistic health and well-being. People will experience Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, a number of therapies (massage etc) and talks and lectures from experts.

We will have a number of Holistic Health Practitioners on the team to offer many and varied consultations and treatments.
This is about helping our customers to improve their health and learn to maintain a healthier lifestyle. With our holistic health approach, there are added dimensions to the services we offer and the advice you we give. We will be delivering a range of consultation sessions (one to one and group),programmes and talks so members can clearly understand the subject of expertise offered, learn from it and adjust their own lifestyles to help themselves.

Our health practitioners work together to share ideas and ensure a level of holistic overlap.
Our therapists and practitioners are highly experienced and fully qualified to offer these services in
an environment constructed specifically for this purpose. Included in the ethos of the Sangha House is the aim to build a place of friendship and companionship.

The Buddhist Word ‘Sangha’ (from the ancient Pali language) translates to ‘Friends’. Therefore, we are also including a lounge space and kitchen. We will be offering coffee, pastries, and other snacks (including nutritional and healthy items) for sale to our members at competitive prices to encourage people to relax between their sessions and enjoy each other’s company. Developing friendships. http://www.thesanghahouse.co.uk/
