Gluten, Dairy & Sugar free Chocolate Flapjack

Sugar free, Gluten free, dairy free. and also Suitable for vegans.

500g Organic,gluten free muesli.

50g Quinoa flakes

50g Ground Almonds.

50g Ground Walnuts.

50g Siberian pine nut flakes ( http://www.ringingcedarsofrussia.co.uk/store.php?id=EU124 )

2 Tbsp of cocoa powder (organic & 100% pure cocoa)

4 tbsp Organic honey.

4tbsp milled organic flaxseed.(Linwood)

1/2 cup sunflower oil.

1 tsp flaxseed oil.

1 tsp Hemp oil.

4 tbsp Date syrup.

4 tbsp Brown rice syrup.

 

Place in a saucepan, the honey, date syrup and brown rice syrup and simmer for five minutes. Add the sunflower oil, Hemp oil and Flaxseed oil and stir in while simmering for five more minutes then turn off the heat.

Add to a large mixing bowl the muesli, flaxseed, ground almonds, chocolate powder, ground walnuts, Quinoa flakes and the pine nut flakes and stir altogether. Add the syrups to the muesli mix and stir in till all the muesli is covered.

Line a 7" X 10" baking tin with baking paper and add the mix and push down to compact the mix. Bake in a pre heated oven for 20 minutes at 180 c. When cooked leave in tin for 15 minutes to cool then put out on a wire tray.
