The upstairs of the Tarka Clinic there is a yoga studio of 9m x 7.5m and this is a wonderful space for gong baths to be held in. Karen has already run many gong baths throughout 2017 in this studio.

Back in 2012 when I first started a regular gong bath in Barnstaple, I was a few metres away from the Tarka Clinic at the Living Tree Centre and it feels goods to be returning to Paiges lane.

Sound Gong Bath provides regular gong baths meditations for groups of people at public venues in the South West of England

A gong bath is a relaxing and blissful experience. The term "gong bath" means that you are bathed in sound waves, there are no clothes removed or water involved, you simply lie down on crash mats (that I supply) wrap yourself in a blanket and your head on a pillow, close your eyes and relax. The gongs are played for an hour. The sounds that come out of the gongs are very unfathomable and very difficult for the human brain to follow, this results in surrender, and you will drift into a deep meditative state, this can happen once or many times throughout a session, everyone can have a different experience. Every session is different. The gong bath is very good at relieving pain, stress or dealing with personal issues, it tends to bring people to a blissful state that can often last for many days. When the session ends I gently bring the group back with small tingling bells and my heart sounding bowl, and sometime other instruments.

Take a look at my testimonial page to read the feedback that people has left for me over the last six years.
