The Pete quote collection is a collection of the quotes I can remember spanning my life time. I have noticed that in conversation the weirdest things come out of my mouth with no warning or thought process involved, and other times I just think up quotes  so some of these quotes have not even been spoken but I have remembered them for future use.Enjoy.

The World population is so much smaller than we are led to believe, the Billion was once a million million but changed in the UK in 1974 by Harold Wilson to one thousand million to match the American version. Add up the country to country population figures and you will find that the world population is just over eight thousand million, even smaller population than 1900 Which had a population of  One billion six hundred thousand ( million million ) back then If the official figures are to be taken seriously.

 I like cars that don't have a ECU, EGR, ABS,LED or a CAT, the modern vehicles are complicated nonsense.

 

Here is a question no one seems to be asking, is bomb dropping good for the envoronment ?, I would suspect the answer is no. So if Governments are funding and dropping bombs on any opportunity, why should we the people take the net zero climate nonsense seriously.

 Being a parent had it's challenges I remember going to Alton Towers with my son many years ago and we were going to see Father Christmas I had a sudden panic ohh my god how do I greet him, am I tidy enough, all was fine though I decided to shake his hand and hope for the best.

 

 I often like to pay more attention to what people don't want rather than what they do want.

 

 I sometimes worry about having nothing to worry about.

 

 During the Covid era I did notice my sense of smell got very sensitive although there were no cows in sitght I was smelling a awful lot of Bull shit.

I seemed to be as welcome as a turd in a swimming pool.

 

don't criticise others unles you have mastered perfection yourself, we are all different and we all handle things in different ways, one exception to this is politicians we kind of know they are useless and maybe that's what they are suppose to be and if that's the case then they are good at their job.

 

 Some problems, if you don't give them the worry they just magically disappear.

 

 I can be a bit old fashioned sometimes, I just like things that are real, real money, real food, real garden lawn, real people, real clouds and real bones for the dogs.

 

 They don't make bicycles like they used too, they make them so much better nowaday.

 I do struggle with the belief of that God character,I certainly won't be relying on Him, She or it.

I remember as a kid bicycle brakes sounded just like a Pheasant.

when I was growing up gadgets of the time had these wonderful on off switches, you just clicked a switch for off or on, nowadays we are not really sure if a gadget is swiched off when we hold the stupid button down for how ever many seconds it takes.

Once I don't mind, twice I can tolerate, three times is just getting annoying.
