Over the time since Sound Gong Bath was first established, I have noticed an increase of interest in Sound Therapy and the gong in particular. With this in mind, I have been working on ideas to both enhance the profundity of the gong experience and to make it accessible to a wider audience. Keen to collaborate with others to achieve this, I have therefore organised a series of special two hour sound healing events combining the skills of five different sound therapists to create what promises to be a unique and memorable experience.
Participants lay wrapped in a blanket on a crash mat, head on a pillow, eyes closed. The aim is to get as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Participants are bathed in sound waves, primarily from the gong (although other sacred instruments and voice toning will be added), a ‘soundscape’ of healing tones gently lowers the brainwaves inducing a deep meditative state.
The gong creates an incredibly complex range of frequency and harmonics experienced as multi-layered sound and felt both by the physical and energetic body. The effects are deeply relaxing and rejuvenating, cleansing and clearing, whilst activating the individual’s healing process; frequently allowing resolution of long standing problems, relief from pain and stress. Many people sense a feeling of timelessness and may experience moments of heightened emotion, greater clarity, creative ideas and spiritual insight. Each person has their own unique experience and every session is different, a common factor being that people are brought into a blissful state that can last for many days.

Please bring a blanket and a pillow, I supply crash mats for your comfort.
These sessions are suitable for anyone but I would like to keep the age group from 16 years plus.
disabled people are very welcome and given enough notice any special needs or requests you have will be arranged ie: if you would like to be lifted in and out of a wheelchair or if lying on the crash mats is not suitable and a recliner is of more benefit please asks.
Sound Gong Bath provides regular gong bath meditations for groups of people at public venues in the South West of England
A gong bath is a relaxing and blissful experience. During a gong bath you are bathed in sound waves, there are no clothes removed or water involved, you simply lie down on crash mats (which are supplied), wrap yourself in a blanket, lay your head on a pillow, close your eyes and relax. The gongs are normally played for an hour. The sounds that come out of the gongs are difficult for the human brain to follow, and you will most likely drift into a deep meditative state. This can happen once or many times throughout a session, everyone can have their own experience and every session is different. The gong bath is very good at relieving pain, stress or dealing with personal issues, it tends to bring people to a blissful state that can often last for many days. When the session ends I gently bring the group back with small tingling bells and my Heart sounding bowl, and sometimes other instruments. Bottled spring water is distributed at the end of the session as people emerge from the experience.
